Namespace
A practical DevOps definition, with an example you can use.
A way to scope names and group many kinds of Kubernetes resources within a cluster.
An example you can picture
The training team places its workloads in a lab namespace. Commands specify that namespace so it is clear which resources are being inspected.
The distinction that matters
A namespace is not a complete security boundary by itself. Permissions, network policies, and other controls determine the effective isolation.
Put it into practice
Use an explicit namespace when listing resources in a training cluster. Compare identically named objects in two namespaces, then explain which cluster-level resources are outside that naming scope.
Connect the ideas: kubernetes and iam. For the bigger picture, read the related learning guide.
